I just want to thank all of you who have supported my running for Indiana State Representative. I appreciate everyone’s help and efforts. (As we enter the final stretch before the election, I need your help.)
When I started this campaign six months ago, my goal was to give people a choice. For too long our district has had an incumbent who has ran unopposed and I could sense from people I spoke to, they wanted a choice. I wanted to get people thinking and get people involved in our process. Good news! We accomplished that. I will be honest with you, the response I have received has far exceeded any expectations I had. Over the past month my attitude has shifted from a candidate just offering an alternative, to that of a candidate with a real chance to win this election. In order to do that though, I need your help. I have signs that need to go in yards. I need you to tell your friends, co-workers, and families about my candidacy. If each of my supporters could bring along one person to my side, we CAN win! And if I do, for the first time in 10 years we will have a representative that will come to you and listen to your concerns. We will have a representative that will look out solely for his constituents and not for one of the political parties or lobbyists. For the first time in 10 years when you ask someone who their representative is in District 53, they will be able to tell you, because I will be visible, available and willing to listen to the most important voice in the political spectrum, the voice of the people.
